Breed Rescue List

To the best of our knowledge, the Southern California rescue representatives listed here agree to conform to certain rescue criteria.  These standards include: Spaying and neutering of all companion animals prior to placement; No breeding rescue animals; Adopting out companion animals with a written contract and agreeing to take back any placed animal that can no longer be kept by its owner; Promptly returning all phone calls from animal control and private parties looking to adopt or give-up an animal to a rescuer.  

In some instances we have listed national or out-of-state breed rescuers.  We do so as a courtesy for those interested in learning more about the breed.  We cannot, however, vouch for their standards or their sincerity in complying with the standards listed above.  We must rely on the users' diligence to ask pertinent questions when inquiring about the give-up and/or adoption of a companion animal.  Despite our best efforts to catch typos and area code changes, etc., the user is bound to discover errors.  We appreciate any and all changes/additions/deletions being brought to our attention by contacting webmaster.
